"Boston Bombing"

I want to take this time to send my thoughts and prayers to the people who were injured, lost lives, and loved ones in Boston on Monday April 16th. It almost seem inevitable that hateful acts like this will take place. As a nation we need to put more emphasis on the security at these big events. Why would a person want to hurt innocent people? I will never understand. I am saddened by what happened and honestly I am at a lost of words.

In this picture there is a young man who planned to propose to his fiance once she crossed the finish line, but that wont happen now because unfortunately she was one of the few that didn't survive the blast.

I ask that as you read my blog, you take a few seconds and pray for a speedy recovery for those who are on the road of recovery, and that you pray for our brothers and sister who lost their lives.

  1. You could have used this to show the power of the media in getting people to support one another and get information out very quickly. The evil actions of someone has resulted in a terrible event and the security at events is what media has been talking about, and now people are starting to look at how they run things. The media can be very powerful.

  2. I liked this blog because of the tone. Even though it is one of sadness, the words and pictures you used, helped set it in even more. Just try to add more detail and examples and you should be set. You should also check out mines since I did the same topic!

  4. I'm with you. How innocent lives could be disregarded so easily I will never understand. My heart goes out to all the victims of that horrible event, and I pray the survivors find peace. The images you added to your blog really appealed to my emotions. The image of the man that was to propose, on the ground brought me to my knees. I can not imagine his pain.Heartbreaking.
